Job Description
A highly experienced and Qualified Teacher/Governess is sought for a longterm Rota position based in the USA with extensive international travel.
The role involves supporting the educational and personal development of a schoolaged child within a fully staffed private household.
A teaching degree is essential along with prior experience in both a primary educational setting and private family environments.
This is a Rota role operating on a 2 weekson 1 month off schedule with flexibility during extended travel periods particularly during school holidays.
The candidate should be a US citizen and be based in the USA.
Demonstrated experience in similar Rota roles and a minimum of five years longevity in previous positions.
The ideal candidate will be proactive discreet and highly organised with a nurturing yet professional approach.
A strong understanding of childhood development is essential alongside a proven ability to create engaging educational and ageappropriate activities both at home and during travel.
Additional responsibilities include managing nursery related duties event planning sourcing and coordinating activities and handling a range of administrative and logistical duties. A creative calm and adaptable mindset combined with a teamoriented attitude is key.
