Maintenance Consultant
Position Type: Independent Consultant/ Independent Service Provider (Not W2)
Locations: Mexico

Our consultants are industry experts providing tactical operational wins to OEMs and T1 Suppliers via extensive industry knowledge critical thinking and problemsolving abilities and a passion for making handson changes to warehouse and production floors rapidly.
- Actively drive challenging automotiverelated projects focusing on equipment/machine maintenance uptime and maintenance systems optimization for our customers which can include deconstruction and movement of equipment machine assessment regarding daily output scrap etc.
- Setting Maintenance KPIs on the production floor to ensure the set timelines are being met.
- Creating and implementing a preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment.
- Providing training and development to the internal maintenance team to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
- Troubleshooting any and all equipment failures on the plant floor.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
- Developing maintenance standards to optimize work processes adapt maintenance tools and procedures to improve equipment utilization and reliability and minimizes service quality incidents.
- Overseeing equipment needs and acquisition to maximize production efficiency and return.
- Maintaining strict observation of projects in process and upon completion to ensure equipment meet safety and work quality expectations.
- Directs the maintenance and operations of various facility systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Oversees and plans the layout of electrical and mechanical equipment; recommends and implements modifications to facilities.
- Maintaining Lean Principles on the Production floor.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance and plant floor consulting.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related preferred.
- Expert knowledge in troubleshooting Mechanics Hydraulics Electrical Pneumatic PLCs etc...
- Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenance.
- Superior leadership and management skills with a proven ability to coordinate employees teams and departments with different skills and backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to communicate effectively with client customers at all organizational levels.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Experience leading small teams or delivering projects or programs.
- Experience prioritizing tasks and managing assignments in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills including presentation skills (MS Excel MS Visio MS PowerPoint etc.
- Experience in the target industry (e.g. manufacturing logistics aerospace etc.) may be required depending on the role.
- Previous Consulting Experience Preferred
