Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic chef to join our kitchen team here at the Governors House a pub and restaurant with 10 hotel rooms in leafy Cheadle Hulme. The right candidate will be diligent hardworking and reliable and able to support our Kitchen Manager in delivering great food quality and compliance as we strive to continue growing food sales in our business.
We are seeking somebody who can work in our fastpaced kitchen environment as part of a team to send out great quality dishes each time to our customers in a safe and compliant manner.
This is a fulltime position for the right candidate but ability to work evenings (until 10pm) and weekends is essential.
Qualifications :
As a Chef you will
- Prepare cook and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
- Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
- Communicate clearly with the team in order to provide highquality meals to customers on time.
- Keep up to date with new products menus and promotions.

- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
- A passion for delivering tasty and wellpresented meals to customers each and every time.
- Willingness to get stuck in learn new skills and help out in different areas of the kitchen when needed.
