The technician is expected to undertake generaltasks which will promote seamless use of IT infrastructure in a work :Education or experience in troubleshooting and supporting computer desktops hardwareand softwareExperience in local area network troubleshooting and user supportAbility to communicate orally and written in a professional mannerWorks well both alone or in a team settingSelfmotivatedDuties Include:Assist Staff and Students with technology projects problems and questionsAssists with technology planning and updating through ongoing researchTroubleshoot and diagnose computer and software problems in a timely and efficientmanner and provide technical support when neededPerform all designated installation procedures for both hardware and software andprovide and maintain appropriate documentationWorking with external tech support agencies if necessary to resolve technical problemsInventorying labeling locating and relocating technology assets as well as enteringchanging and deleting inventory information in databaseMaintaining computer peripheral equipment Ex: printers scanners projectors andwhiteboardsTroubleshooting wired and wireless networks desktop and server hardware Other dutiesas assigned by supervisorShift Type FullTime Salary Range $16.23 to $17.24
