Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a potential opportunity in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston TX.

This role offers a meaningful missionfocused environment with a collaborative care team and the unique privilege of serving our nations veterans.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced nursing care to veterans with spinal cord injuries and neurorehabilitation needs

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage individualized care plans

• Monitor patient progress administer treatments and educate patients and families

• Support clinical operations through detailed documentation and patient advocacy

• Work one weekend per month as part of a shared schedule rotation

Required Qualifications:

• Current unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state

• Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience within the last 5 years.

• Current ACLS certification (AHA approved) applicable to SICU IMCU CCU ICU Stepdown or ER

• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)

• Strong communication critical thinking and collaboration skills
