Job Description
- Responsible for tracking analyzing and reporting project financial status.
- Ensures that procedures and policies are in place to fulfill all contractual financial obligations
- Facilitate effective and efficient financial reporting and ensure compliance with local state and corporate policies.
- Maintain a clear understanding of revenue recognition project invoicing journal entry preparation and general accounting rules.
- Support both management and clients by communicating financial insights and reporting on the performance of assigned projects in a way that nonfinancial team members can understand.
- Direct fiscal operations relating to financial planning funds management accounting reporting and disbursement.
- Perform monthend closing activities
- Process payroll accounts payable and prepare accounts receivable invoices to customers
- Prepare and maintain budgets forecasts and cash flows across multiple funding streams and communicate the contracts financial position
- Administer supplier contract terms verify compliance and review payments
- Prepare financial performance reviews and maintain project financial data
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Selfmotivated and flexible team player.
- Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
- Driven and actionoriented and are comfortable multitasking and meeting multiple tight deadlines.
- Take pride in your ability to recognize and solve problems as they arise especially in regard to business practices quality and internal controls.
- Bachelors degree or higher in a related field and 3 years of working in an accounting role and are ready to make an impact.
- Previous experience with cost accounting government fund accounting or Oracle.
