The underwriting service specialist is responsible for interpreting analyzing and processing various activities in support of property and casualty insurance operations. The candidate will need to perform complex activities with a high degree of accuracy and consistently meet service level requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret data analyze results and process transactions in various systems in support of the following areas:
- Submission Clearance
- Workers Compensation
- Policy & Endorsement rating and Issuance
- Auto
- Compliance
- Other operations as needed.
- Prepare and issue documents and reports accurately as per specifications.
- Interact with team and customers as required to complete deliverables.
- Communicate issues or queries on a timely basis to ensure quick resolution.
- Assist with troubleshooting and improving processes as needed
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- This candidate should have a background in either Workers Comp or Auto
- Strong verbal/written communication with fluency in the English language
- Strong analytical and problemsolving ability
- Detail and quality minded
- Collaborative and teamoriented with ability to execute within an international team
- Superior knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible with changing requirements and ability to learn new processes quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships
- 35 years of data processing and analysis experience required
- Previous experience in insurance industry desirable
- Auto Rating OR Workers Compensation experience is required
