Job Description
All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in an outpatient clinic setting! This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving therapy team now expanding to the Greater Las Vegas area. All Care Therapies company has partnered with Therapy Blocks LLC to deliver exceptional care for pediatrics with various disorders and conditions. As a leader in the rehabilitative care industry we strive to continually bring solutions to address the evolving challenges of therapy providers.
We are looking for a physical therapist assistant that delivers compassionate care to patients contributes to the multidisciplinary team and collaborates with families to deliver a plan of care as developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Individual physical therapy plans differ depending on patients needs but all strive to develop increase or maintain independence in performing tasks of daily living for our pediatric patients.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Contributes to a physical therapists effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.
- Administers treatment programs for pediatric patients under a licensed physical therapist.
- Identifies abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapists interpretations of patient evaluations and test results.
- Documents pediatric patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing encouraging and assisting patients in performing physical activities such as nonmanual exercises ambulatory functional activities and daily living activities.
- Helps pediatric patients in using supportive devices such as crutches canes and prostheses.
- Instructs and counsels pediatric patients by describing therapeutic regimens giving normal growth and development information and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations and adhering to infectioncontrol policies and protocols.
- Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends and monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives.
- Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal state and local regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities reading periodicals maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
- Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered.
- Maintains safe secure and healthy work environment by establishing following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Qualifications :
- Current NV Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- At least one year of experience as a pediatric physical therapist assistant is preferred
- Willingness to participate in continued education courses
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess good time management skills
Additional Information :
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am6:00 pm OR 10:00 am7:00 pm
Job Type: Full time to work 40 hours per week.
