Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Fullstack to join the Service Management Platform Team. You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust service orchestration and deployment solutions that ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.
This is an onsite role based in First Avenue Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will build service orchestration pipelines to handle service creation lifecycle management and deprecation of Microservices across Grabs systems.
- You will define and implement Service definitions and standards design robust and consistent orchestration flows to management the Service lifecycle.
- You will work with other stakeholders to integrate Service and deployment best practices into team workflows.
- You will be part of the platformization braintrust contributing to best interplatform communication practices by design robust API interactions.
- You will contribute to oncall rotations and postincident analyses.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of Fullstack software engineering experience with proficiency in backend (Go Kotlin Python Java) and frontend (React Angular) languages.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS) with ability to debug and scale complex systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools InfrastructureasCode (e.g. Terraform) and orchestration languages (e.g. Ansible).
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring frameworks (e.g. ELK stack Datadog Grafana Splunk).
- Experience in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
