Job Description

KUBRA is looking for a hardworking and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our Gardena team! This opportunity is for the first shift from 8:30am 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
As a Shipper/Receiver you will work in our warehouse environment to ensure the seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items. The Shipper/Receiver is also responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility.

What you get to do every day

    • Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
    • Maintain filing of shipping documents
    • Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
    • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
    • Create purchase requisitions and obtain approval prior to placing supply orders
    • Sort and distribute incoming shipments
    • Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off
    • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents shipments and deliveries
    • Maintain organized work area according to policies procedures and safety regulations
    • Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned
    • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility

    • Reliable you are punctual for your scheduled shifts have a great attendance record and are flexible to work Overtime when required
    • A Team Player you enjoy working as part of a team to meet daily production volumes and requirements for client jobs
    • A great communicator you communicate professionally both written and verbal
    • Selfmotivated and organized you are able to multitask and perform in a fastpaced environment

What skills do you need

    • 1 year of related experience in a Warehouse environment or as a Shipper/Receiver is an asset but not required
    • Ability to drive a forklift training and certification will be provided by KUBRA
    • You must have a valid drivers license
    • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
    • High school diploma preferred but not required
