About the Role: Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Senior Doc is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our mobile behavioral health team specializing in geriatric mental health. This is a feeforservice roleyou earn based on your time and commitment. Youll be supported by a dedicated medical assistant and scribe allowing you to focus more on patient care and less on admin.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for geriatric patients in home and facilitybased settings
Diagnose and manage conditions like depression anxiety dementia and behavioral disorders
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications adjusting as needed based on patient response
Collaborate with primary care providers therapists and care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
Provide crisis intervention and family education to improve outcomes and understanding
Maintain accurate clinical documentation to support coordinated longterm care plans

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Active PMHNP license
Experience with geriatric psychiatry longterm care or mobile healthcare (preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with elderly patients and their families
Comfortable working independently with remote support
