Your Role as a CT Radiographer
As a CT Radiographer at UMMS youll play a crucial role in delivering highquality diagnostic imaging ensuring precision patient safety and fast accurate results. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating highresolution Tomography / CT Imaging equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images
- Demonstrates clinical competence in Musculoskeletal Neuro and Body
- Demonstrated ability to fix studies in the private area in collaboration with EPIC
- Ensuring patient safety comfort & proper positioning procedures
- Collaborating with radiologists physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to compliance standards
Qualifications :
- Maryland Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility)
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- BLS Certification
- Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care & teamwork
- Knowledge of crosssectional anatomy preferred
