Job Summary:
The Title I Teacher provides targeted academic interventions within the RTI framework collaborates with staff to address student learning needs and supports implementation of the Building School Improvement Plan (BSIP). This position is also responsible for maintaining Title I documentation supporting classroom instruction coordinating family engagement events and assisting with the administration of assessments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Academic Intervention & RTI Support
- Provide small group instruction for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students in reading and/or math.
- Implement researchbased intervention strategies aligned with student data.
- Monitor and document student progress using approved tools and protocols.
- Participate in data meetings to review student performance and recommend instructional adjustments.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure alignment of intervention and core instruction.
- Instructional Collaboration & Coaching
- Coplan and support classroom instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Model evidencebased instructional strategies and interventions for staff.
- Assist teachers with analyzing assessment data and differentiating instruction.
- Provide instructional resources and coaching to promote improved student achievement.
- Data Analysis Assessment & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze academic and progress monitoring data to identify instructional priorities.
- Document student intervention progress and maintain compliance records.
- Support the implementation of the Building School Improvement Plan with a focus on datainformed strategies.
- Assist in the coordination and administration of local and state assessments including preparation proctoring and data collection.
- Student & Family Engagement
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for home support.
- Collaborate with the principal to plan and host Title I family engagement events that promote learning and school connection.
- Facilitate at least two parent involvement meetings annually to share program information strategies for academic support at home and annual survey updates.
- Title I Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of Title I services interventions and student progress.
- Organize documentation for parent events involvement activities and student supports in alignment with federal and district Title I expectations.
- Support schoollevel Title I team planning and program evaluation.
- Coordinate with the building principal to ensure Title I practices are effectively implemented and documented.

Conditions and Environment
The individual who holds this position will regularly work in a school environment that is noisy and active. Occasionally the individual will be required to work outdoors for short periods of time to perform such tasks as loading and unloading students from district transportation and supervising recess.
