Job Description:
Job Duties
Department Leadership
Train and guide new employees to ensure follow up training is delivered throughout duration of employment.
Supervise student employees when needed and assists team lead and Food Services Manager.
Ensure compliance with all food safety written instruction for equipment operation chemical supplies safety instructions written policy and and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure high quality customer service i.e. fast friendly personalized service. Answering question resolving complaints and working to exceed customer expectations.
Perform housekeeping duties cash handling ordering ensure proper rotation of product stocking multi task and problem solve. Inform team lead or manager of any inconsistencies.
Coffee Bar
Assist in the daily operations in the Coffee Bar which will consist of stocking cleaning and brewing of coffee and preparing a variety of drinks.
Bistro/Kitchen
Cook prep stock and maintain a clean organized food line in the kitchen areas.
Other Duties as Assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED plus one (1) year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
A preemployment postoffer physical evaluation will be required of the selected candidate.
Strong communication skills with customers coworkers and managers.
Works well in a teamoriented kitchen environment.
Willingness to assist coworkers during busy periods.
Ability to take direction from supervisors.
Prioritizes duties (prepping cooking cleaning) to keep service running smoothly.
Ability to resolve minor issues in food prep or customer service.
Follows proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to track of inventory needs and reports shortages.
Punctual and dependable.
ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Kitchen equipment experience
Food Service POS system experience
