Infosys is seeking a Major Incident Management Consultant having experience in ITIL Process management which includes Incident management Outage management.
Required Qualification:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofBethpage (NY) orbe willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
- Candidate should be willing to work in EST time zone.
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 2 of year experiencein Develop and implement processes and procedures for incident management
- Maintain business level knowledge of what are the key applications and systems for each product and service line
- Ability to analyze a high volume of technical data to identify incident trends and solutions while working in a highpressure and fastpaced environment
- Can translate technical details of failure modes service impacting events into business and customer impacts.
- Work on Root Cause Analysis & accordingly communicate to the relevant Stakeholders
- Proficiency in incident response infrastructure ITIL metrics production environment incident reports technical issues NOC (Network Operations Center) clientfacing network operations Java mainframe and SharePoint.
