Job Description
Technical Responsibilities
- Participating in and/or leading crossfunctional teams to support optimal client services
- Independently investigating team quality deviations and preventing reoccurrences in support of QC operations
- Ensures superlative customer service to clients and full operational ownership and coverage of scope of work
- Train or schedule training for all employees and participates in required training activities
- Tracks and maintains documents regarding training metrics team meetings and other relevant trackers and workbooks
- Ensures superlative customer service to clients
- Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
- Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
- Communicating findings and recommendations at group meetings
- Receiving handling and disposing of samples
- Accurately records sampling/testing activities and reports any quality anomalies
- Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices before use.
- May support reviewing editing and revising controlled documents (batch records logbooks SOPs etc.) in accordance with cGMP standards to ensure compliance with written procedures
- May perform sample collection documentation testing as required by scope and staff shortages
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Leading direct reports group leaders and their teams and serving clients in technical settings such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
- Disseminate administrative communications
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision
- Meet all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
- Coordinate scheduling and allocation of responsibilities and new hire onboarding process
- Coordinates training program
- Improves the operations in the lab through LEAN Operational Excellence and Six Sigma trainings
Qualifications :
The Ideal Candidate will Have:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a clientfacing environment.
- Selfmotivated adaptable and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity
- Development of teambuilding strategies and initiatives
Minimum Qualificaitons:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or other sciencerelated degree concentration or equivalent directlyrelated experience
- 35 years of previous leadership experience
- Experience working in a fastpaced GMP environment
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime 1st shift 8:00 am 4:30 pm MondayFriday. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
