We are expanding our team in Penrith and surrounding areas and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join us in making a positive impact in our community.
We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists of all levels of experience that are looking for full time or part time roles.
In this role you will:
- Assessing participants emotional psychological cognitive developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidencebased.
- Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home school work and residential facilities.
- Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications :
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
- Looking for a fun collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
