We are looking for a candidate who is challenged by making efficient logistic plans in order to secure a swift timetomarket for ASMLs newest products including the commercial product output and customer service requirements.

Shift Planning is responsible for executing production plans which meet requested outputs control material availability during execution accordingly troubleshoot and solve logistics disturbances drive timely material escalations and provide feedback loop towards production planning on work center progress.

The sector Manufacturing within the Wilton Factory (WF) is responsible for the production of EXE NXE DUV and APPS systems. The Production Planner works closely with Manufacturing (workstream owners operators and TLs/GLs) Sourcing & Supply Chain Management Material Handling Warehouse and Production Logistics teams.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the tactical planning management and adjustment of production activities so that the agreed production plan is realized with minimum disturbances. Executes production plan in consultation with the responsible production planner.

  • Controls material availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.

  • Acts as a representative for all Business Planning departments in shop floor tier meetings.

  • Manages the logistics processes of the factory by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse monitoring the progress and processing the administration.

  • Acts as troubleshooter in the field of logistics in order to avoid disruptions to the production process. Process and solving of disturbances as second line support.

  • Analysis and optimization: Ensure delivery performance of the bottleneck work centers such that optimum use of resource and critical situations can be dealt with.

  • Contributes to the improvement in material control material planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.

  • Reporting and communication: Anticipates on problems and communicates these problems with the different departments to resolve them together with these departments.

Education and experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 years work experience in factory logistics.

  • Prior knowledge of SAP or another ERP system is a plus

  • Experience in planning and logistic processes within manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working with Microsoft office programs.

  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Can work under deadlines.

  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.

  • This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
