Job Description
The Trauma Program at Mercy Health St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima Ohio is seeking a physician assistant to cover 24hour shifts 7 am to 7am. Join our busy Trauma Team in a 424bed regional referral center with a catchment of :Level II Trauma CenterIn house 24hour rotation four 24hour shifts per pay periodIndependent and collaborative rounding trauma patientsRespond to all trauma activationsCollaborate with trauma surgeon and ED provider to develop plan of care for all trauma patients from presentation through advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess patients and manage all aspects of communication skills needed plus strong professional interaction with ancillary departments to enable best patient care and interdisciplinary Clinic round on trauma patient population and support general is a 24/7/365 service weekends and holidays are (but not required) Trauma/Critical Care experienceEMR is EPICATLS preferred expected within 6 months of and Skills Required:Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).Current licensure with the state of Ohio as a physician of an accredited PA of Science in Physician Assistant related field as outlined by the Ohio State Medical BoardGood verbal and written communication skills.
