Job Description

AWS Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp highly differentiated and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWSs most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build operate manage and optimize on AWS.
The Sr. Product Marketing Manager for AWS Sustainability will be responsible for developing/maintaining crisp highly differentiated and compelling crossportfolio positioning and messaging for AWS sustainability leading related launches and delivering core content including customer and event presentations webpages and blogs which can be leveraged across AWS and audiences. The role will work with AWS Global Sustainability Amazon WW Sustainability Public and Analyst Relations Public Policy and other teams to align and collaborate on messaging and position.

This role may sit in these locations only: Santa Clara CA USA Seattle WA USA

Relocation offered to these locations from within the USA only.


Key job responsibilities
Own marketing for AWS Sustainability including key launches
Develop messaging & positioning for AWS Sustainability use cases value propositions and marketing content working in collaboration with related product marketers as needed.
Partner effectively with other groups such as Amazon Sustainability engineering digital marketing sales business development public relations analyst relations partner marketing field marketing and evangelists to drive marketing results
Craft and execute campaigns and leverage owned earned and paid channels to reach our customers and help grow their understanding and usage of AWS
Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences
Work at both the strategic and tactical level and champion bold and creative ideas


A day in the life
As Senior Product Marketing Manager for AWS Sustainability you will have the opportunity to own and drive the marketing strategy to help customers build and run resilient highly available applications in the AWS cloud. You will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will own creation of content that drives awareness preference and adoption of AWS and scale our messaging through key launches and channels including the website events and more. You will partner crossfunctionally with GTM sales training and other counterparts to build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. And you will own and drive the value propositions for operating on AWS that meet key customer use cases and convey AWSs unique value.

Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small and midmarket accounts to enterpriselevel customers including public sector.

6 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
Experience prior success in driving execution of largescale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals

Experience in marketing or marketing research
Experience with customer segmentation profiling and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
