The ideal candidate is interested in being part of a growing team that is passionate about experimenting and innovating for customers on Big screen & TV devices has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products and is excited about having endtoend ownership of highimpact highvisibility projects. A commitment to collaboration proficiency in evaluating alternative solutions and strong communication skills (with both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. The role requires having a solid depth of technical knowledge being wellversed in industry best practices and possessing attention to details.

Key job responsibilities
1. Architect build and maintain an application framework tailored to build customer experiences across TV and Big screens devices Web or Mobile apps.
2. Design and develop tools to augment the developer experience including but not limited to:
Linters
Testing solutions
Commandline interfaces
Git helpers and integrations with Gitlab
CI/CD pipelines
Build and distribution workflows
Operational metrics and dashboards
Provide handson support and training to other developers who are less acquainted with React Native TypeScript and GraphQL.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements provide technical insights and ensure the timely delivery of highquality software.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure our tools and technologies are cuttingedge.

About the team
The Amazon Music Visual Experience team is responsible for the Music client application on Amazon Musics apps on Big Screen TV Clients iOS Fire Tablet devices and on Android devices. Everyone on our team has a meaningful impact on product features new directions in music streaming and customer engagement. We are looking for new team members across a variety of job functions including software engineering/development marketing design ops and more.

Our team is focused on building a personalized curated and seamless Visual Music experience. We want to help our customers discover upandcoming artists while also having access to their favorite established musicians. We build systems that are distributed on a large scale spanning our music apps web player and voiceforward audio engagement on mobile TV and Amazon Echo devices powered by Alexa to support our customer base. Amazon Music offerings are available in countries around the world and our applications support our mission of delivering music to customers in new and exciting ways that enhance their daytoday lives.



3 years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
Experience in machine learning data mining information retrieval statistics or natural language processing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
