We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Grand Island NY. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects within our organization. In this role you will lead engineering projects that are vital to the manufacturing of cell culture media. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and prioritize multiple projects from inception to completion ensuring adherence to project timelines budgets and quality standards.
  • Collaborator Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external collaborators to define project requirements and objectives ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and lead resources effectively including staff contractors and materials to ensure project success.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
  • Alignment: Ensure all projects align with relevant regulations health and safety standards and Site policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management highlighting key achievements risks and issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve project delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Capital Planning: Aid in developing and sustaining a multiyear capital plan for building systems encompassing cost estimates project dependencies and priority assessments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management Construction Management Engineering or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.

Experience

  • Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $93800.00$140675.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
