An employee in this role engages in semiskilled tasks either independently or by providing support to a skilled worker. Additionally this individual may take on the responsibilities of a lead worker overseeing a small team of manual laborers as they carry out routine activities. These activities encompass a variety of essential functions including general janitorial services maintenance of roads trails and buildings as well as the upkeep of tools and equipment. The employee is also involved in managing boundary lines picnic areas and various recreation projects. Furthermore the role includes efforts in the conservation and protection of forest resources alongside customer service initiatives. All these tasks are aimed at assisting the Forest Maintenance Supervisor in achieving the established goals and expectations that align with the objectives of the Bureau of Forestry and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
