As the Senior Project Manager you will lead a crossfunctional engineering team in the planning coordinating monitoring and executing new product development medical device projects. In your role you will ensure R&D projects are completed on time/cost & budget. You will support cuttingedge medical device products from the inception phase to launch for Strykers Surgical Technologies business unit within Stryker Instruments.

What you will do
- Lead the team in developing the project charter and management plan. Direct manage monitor and control a strong business case and evaluate tradeoffs within a project.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop manage and own project scope. Create a detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
- Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical paths major workstreams and intersecting milestones. Own the project schedule.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional managers to define project budgets. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
- Partner with the project team to create Quality Plans using 23 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans.
- Develop a project risk management plan. Identify analyze and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan.
- Estimate acquire and assign crossfunctional project resources. Define each team members role responsibility and deliverables.
- Provide direct feedback to the functional manager on performance reviews.
- Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project based on identifying analyzing and understanding Stakeholder expectations.
What you need
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related discipline (Mechanical Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Engineering Management)
- Minimum 6 years of work experience within engineering or manufacturingwith 2 years of Project Management leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- New Product Development experience or product launch experience
- Utilization of Agile and rollingwave or waterfall planning methodology
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for product design
- Led or developed products for medical devices or regulated industries
- Experience developing injectionmolded products and/or singleuse products
- PMP or equivalent preferred
