Job Description
Our client is a local familyrun business that is looking for a Field Services Installation Lead to join their team in West Austin.
As the Team you will play a crucial role in the success and organization of the Installation team for the companys highend window solutions for their client base.
The company offers Americanmade products built to the highest standards in its own facility based in West Austin. They are known for quality products and their business is expanding in both the manufacturing side and the installation side. They are building a stateoftheart showroom and have an established sales and operational side of the business spearheading this growth.
You will work directly with the Project Manager and the Operations Manager to ensure the Installation side of the business runs smoothly and to a high standard.
Skills required
- Any window installation experience is fantastic but not a musthave.
- Construction Carpentry metal fabrication or cabinetry fitting experience is transferable for example(handson skills)
- Exemplary communication and customer service skills
- Strong man management and leadership skills are a must for this position
- The ability to work with customers with high expectations
- Organizational and scheduling skills
- Conflict resolution and an eye for continuous improvement
What will you do
- Work handson and lead the teams that install the products and have overall responsibility for the installation process
- Supervise the offloading of assemblies and glass at the delivery site
- Inspect the installed product for proper installation function and damage
- Keep clear and detailed records using project management software (Field Wire)
- Be a scaffold competent person
- Drive truck with gooseneck trailer loaded with assemblies & glass
- Demonstrate attention to detail and proficiency with QC
- Accurately and effectively communicate the necessary tools and equipment for work
- Control and manage the shift schedules
