Mental Health Professional/Clinical Trainee ACT Team (Assertive Community Treatment)

Your Role on the ACT Team

  • Develop therapeutic alliances with clients.
  • Provide therapy and conduct diagnostic assessments.
  • Complete individualized treatment planning and interventions.

Hiring Range Salary variable on licensure and qualifications.

  • Unlicensed: $60902 $65779 plus $1000 hiring bonus for external candidates
  • Licensed: $74000 $80000 plus $2000 hiring bonus for external candidates

Main Job Duties:

  • Completes diagnostic assessments intake meetings with clients and their legal guardian as appropriate discharge reports treatment plans case notes case reviews and other assessments while maintaining regular contact with client clients legal guardian and collaborative partners.
  • Provide individual and group therapy for clients. Therapy may be provided in clinic home or in the community.
  • Attend all staff meetings and team consultations and completes required agency trainings as scheduled
  • Act as an advocate in order to coordinate care or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Required Qualifications: Unlicensed Clinical Trainee:

  • Completed Masters Degree in a behavior science or related field
  • Pursuing a professional license in one of the following: LP LPCC LMFT LICSW
  • Supervision towards licensure is available and can be built into your schedule

Required Qualifications: Licensed Mental Health Therapist

  • Masters Degree in the behavioral sciences
  • Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP LPCC LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strongly prefer current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP LPCC LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions
  • Two years of fulltime experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders
  • Prior mental health experience.
