This position will work during the summer June 2 to August 29 2025 with the daily schedule MondayThursday 6:00 am4:30 pm.
Note:May not be rehired in any hourly noncontract position in the district without a 6month break in returning to this position may be eligible for a $0.50 pay increase up to Grounds Crew level V of $18.00 per hour.
JOB SUMMARY
The Seasonal Grounds Worker maintains healthy and attractive grounds areas protects against erosion maintains grounds for assemblies and recreational activities (e.g. track football graduation etc.) and ensures assignments are completed in a safe proper and timely manner.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting carrying pushing pulling climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling and fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting 80% walking and 15% standing. The job is performed outdoors under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and illness.
