JOB SUMMARY
Establish and maintain customer relationship and customer orders/ between outside sales the customer and the division. Responds to and resolves escalated issues or complex customer requests.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assists in monitoring daily workflow to ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Point of contact/escalation in absence of Customer Service Manager.
- Identifies improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Maintains highly accurate customer open order reporting.
- Supports Department Manager with compiling analysis reports.
- Manage customer purchase orders and releases.
- Accurately transfer data from purchase orders and releases to manufacturing.
- Work with Engineering to ensure the proper revisions of part numbers are used the proper quantities have been estimated and quoted changes are reviewed accurately and timely and new quotes are being processed to meet customers demands.
- Working with outside sourcing to secure completion dates for various operations.
- Receive and process customers requests for quotes.
- Verify customer orders reflect the correct price and timing as was quoted.
- Ensure customers releases are in line with established release policies for the desired quantities. This is an extension of maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
- Tracking of shop orders in response to the multitude of customer inquiries regarding the status of their orders requests to move in and out request to cancel request to be notified when an order is going to ship or be late.
- Establish maintain update and provide an accurate part history.
- Coordination with accounting to ensure the processing of customer requests for credit to verify the merit and accuracy of the request to provide parts pricing and to obtain export information for customer shipments.
- Effectively manager customer communications (phone email etc.) to ensure satisfaction.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be an analytical thinker.
- Negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma minimum Associates Degree preferred.
- 57 years of relevant experience preferably in manufacturing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand stoop and lift to 40 lbs.
- May have prolonged periods sitting at a desk or walking around the plant
