The Senior Manager of Humanities (PK12) drives the vision implementation and support of highquality ELA and social studies instruction across the region. This leader ensures alignment with standards instructional priorities and student achievement goals while partnering with schools coaching teachers and leading curriculum initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Leadership
Lead the design and support of ELA and Humanities instruction (CKLA Skills Fishtank Novel Studies etc.)
Support teachers and leaders in curriculum internalization and execution
Coach leaders on effective instructional practices and datadriven planning
Professional Development
Lead monthly PD for teachers and leaders across grade bands
Build systems that support continuous improvement in literacy instruction
Curriculum & Assessment
Ensure alignment to standards proficiency scales and regional assessments
Track KPIs and use data to drive instructional decisions
Collaboration & Communication
Align with regional academic and schoolbased teams
Communicate goals updates and priorities clearly to multiple stakeholders
Qualifications :
5 years of ELA teaching experience OR Masters degree in Education or related field
Strong knowledge of K12 Humanities curricula (CKLA Fishtank etc.)
Experience across elementary and secondary settings preferred
Skilled in coaching adult learning and crossfunctional collaboration
Proven ability to build systems monitor progress and meet ambitious goals

Work Environment
Reports to work MondayFriday.
A typical school or office environment with frequent interruptions.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel to work location.
