The Commis 1 Pastry is responsible for preparing a variety of pastry and dessert items to the highest standards of quality presentation and hygiene. Working under the supervision of senior chefs the role supports daily pastry operations and contributes to maintaining the reputation of the propertys culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present highquality pastry items including cakes tarts breads chocolates and plated desserts.
Follow standard recipes and presentation specifications as directed by senior pastry chefs.
Assist in the miseenplace and setup of the pastry station.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of all pastry ingredients and products.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen at all times.
Support with stock inventory and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
Adhere to all food safety and HACCP regulations.
Cooperate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or highend pastry kitchen.
Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and international dessert trends.
Culinary diploma or certification in Baking & Pastry Arts is preferred.
Attention to detail creativity and passion for pastry.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency.
Good communication and organizational skills.
