Were looking for aConstruction Category Managerto lead strategic procurement activity across a range of areas within theEngineering & Constructionsector.
As a core member of the Engineering & Construction category team you will be responsible for thedevelopment and implementation of category strategiesthat align with wider business goals. Your work will directly influence strategic decisionmaking maximise value creation and deliver cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the fullcategory lifecyclefrom strategy development through to implementation and review.
Work collaboratively withSourcing Contract Management and Commercial teamsto ensure category strategies are aligned and effectively executed.
Ensure all procurement activity complies withindustry standards and regulatory requirements.
Use bestpractice procurement tools techniques and processes to deliver category value and performance.
Drive innovation sustainability and continuous improvement within the category.
About You:
Proven experience inconstruction or capital procurement ideally within a regulated environment.
Relevant qualifications such asCIPSor abachelors degreein business procurement or a related field.
Strongplanning and project managementskills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Confident communicator with thesoft skills to influence stakeholdersat all levels of the organisation.
Passion for professional development with a desire to grow your skills and capabilities.
