Overview of Role

We provide impartial expert advice to large and midsized corporations private equity families and entrepreneurs and governments. We design and execute strategic M&A as well as financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner taking a longterm and independent view on the challenges they face.

The Real Estate team is the leading advisor across European real estate offering comprehensive real estate advisory expertise across different subsectors of real estate.

  • Broad sub sector and product exposure

  • Sector focus (commercial real estate housebuilding and lodging)

  • Product expertise (i.e. M&A debt equity)

  • A diverse set of clients comprising high profile corporates and private capital investors

  • An extensive range of both public and private transactions with M&A as a focus complemented by financing advisory

Our deep understanding of financial markets the high volume of transactions we advise on and our unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Responsibilities

  • Preparing and delivering presentations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work and assist on several transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects ranging from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution
  • Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models with support from colleagues
  • Preparation / review of financial analyses required to evaluate and complete such transactions as well as client presentations information memoranda and other marketing materials and public shareholder documents
  • Update industry databases and credentials
  • Work on a broad range of transactions (sellside / buy side public / private) and take a full range of responsibilities across the transaction process
  • Support the wider teams business development and marketing initiatives

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

Experience Skills and Competencies Required

  • Experience in real estate M&A
  • Understanding of financial statement analysis and familiarity with real estate concepts
  • Proficiency in financial modeling
  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop and review valuation analyses and financial models (incl. DCF LBO merger models etc.)
  • Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects / project workstreams in a fastpaced environment and to meet critical deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (notably Excel and PowerPoint) and relevant data platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and clients
