Job Description
Maintenance Technician II
Pleasant Prairie WI
2nd Shift 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
$32.00 / hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations through multicraft equipment maintenance with a focus on reliability safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors conveyors and other production machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions
- Install align and adjust mechanical drive systems
- Replace faulty components and perform system testing
- Conduct wiring lighting and electrical fixture installations and repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing or equivalent technical experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- Ability to read technical drawings schematics and precision measuring tools
- Experience with standard shop equipment and tools
- Proficiency in computer tools (MS Office CMMS etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- 2year technical degree preferred
- Certification testing completed successfully
Quality & Safety:
- Complete annual maintenance skills assessments and ongoing training
- Follow all safety procedures; report unsafe conditions immediately
- Work safely in an industrial environment with physical demands
