Job Overview
We are seeking a Pricing and Reimbursement Associate professional to join our Global Market Insights team. The role involves secondary research on pricing and reimbursement updates in Europe and other global markets collating information as news stories and updating regularly other IQVIA deliverables. Individual will essentially develop top editorial skills and become expert in these assigned markets and be able to also respond to queries coming from any internal or external stakeholder.
Essential Functions
- Research and track changes in pricing and reimbursement rules and regulations in assigned markets
- Write highquality Englishlanguage content for weekly news monthly magazine and quarterly reports to the required standard
- Develop understanding of pricing and reimbursement systems in assigned markets
- Understand trends and key issues in market access globally
- Support Senior Editors and Managing Editor to respond to client needs and requests develop additional content and provide support during busy periods
- Liaise with stakeholders including industry academic government and others
- Attend industry conferences as required
Qualifications our ideal candidate will have
- A minimum upper second class degree (or equivalent) in any discipline; applications from Masters degree and PhD holders are also welcome.
- Fluency in English with strong writing and editing skills and a keen eye for detail is essential.
- A keen interest in developing a detailed understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical markets.
- Strong primary and secondary research skills to gather difficult to capture information.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to develop a network of key contacts both externally and with internal personnel.
- Strong analytical skills to piece together disparate and sometimes conflicting data.
- Flexibility to handle several projects simultaneously and balance priorities appropriately.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to take projects from initial stage to final delivery.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Technical proficiency in Word.
Additional Qualifications
- The position focuses on some of the major international pharmaceutical markets in Europe North America Latin America and Asia. Foreign language skills particularly in major global languages (eg Spanish French German Portuguese Mandarin Chinese) are therefore a distinct advantage.
