Co-op/Intern Cloud Engineer, Observability

Location

This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa Canada office at least three days a week.

About the team

As a member of our Cloud Platform Analytics and Observability team you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from cloudbased systems and databases and presenting insights to key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for developing automation to mature our observability strategy. You will gain valuable experience working with a range of cloudnative tools and platforms and will have the opportunity to work on realworld projects.

Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required to obtain CGRP Security Clearance a requirement of the role.

This is a fulltime 8 or 12month position starting September 2025.

To be eligible for a Coop or Intern position at Kinaxis you must either be currently enrolled in fulltime education or if you are a recent/upcoming graduate your graduation date must be within 12 months of the placement end date.

What you will do

• Analyze data from cloudbased systems
• Develop dashboards to communicate insights to key stakeholders
• Develop and publish performance and capacity metrics for existing services
• Assist with application performance monitoring solutions for Kinaxis Cloud environments
• Develop and implement scripts to help collect and synchronize data between systems
• Write configurationascode and/or infrastructureascode using Ansible and Terraform
• Prototype and template monitoring agent configurations to serve various requirements
• Design organize and operationalize alert rules
• May perform additional projects upon request

• Postgres SQL Server Snowflake and Google BigQuery as data stores

What we are looking for

• Students or recent graduates from a postsecondary diploma or degree program in computer science or a related discipline
• Strong presentation and written communication skills
• Detailoriented hardworking and enthusiastic
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when requested
• A passion for computer and cloud technologies
