The Opportunity

Were on the lookout for a skilled and proactive HSE Manager to support multiple Visy sites across Adelaide and the broader SA/NT region. Reporting to the National HSE Operations Manager Southern Region this key role will drive continuous improvement coach and support operational leaders and help embed our Visy HSE culture through programs such as Stop and Think Safe Production Safe Transport and Safe Construction.

Youll be the central point of contact for all HSE activity across a multisite environment working closely with key stakeholders to improve systems influence behaviour and strengthen risk management and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of Visys HSE initiatives systems and policies across the region.
  • Partner with managers and frontline teams to coach and embed safe behaviours and proactive HSE leadership.
  • Support risk assessments and ensure practical controls are developed monitored and reviewed.
  • Facilitate incident investigations identify root causes and support closeout of corrective actions.
  • Provide training support and subject matter expertise on legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance identifying trends and leading improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong internal relationships across operations HR and leadership teams to influence HSE outcomes.

What Youll Bring to the Team

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Experience in an HSE role within manufacturing logistics or heavy industry environments.
  • A proactive practical approach with strong communication coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Solid understanding of HSE legislation and systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.
