Eastpointe Secondary Campus is the heart of Eastpointe Community Schools. We are the Eastpointe Shamrocks with a winning heart of gold! We hold true to our saying Once A Shamrock Always A Winner! Eastpointe Secondary Campus is a unique venue supporting approximately 800 students in grades 812. Our campus consists of three schools on one campus (an 8th Grade Academy a traditional high school setting for grades 912 and a Virtual Academy/Alternative Center). Our Middle School serves students in grades 6 and 7.

Through our diverse educational programing our students have a variety of opportunities that will prepare them for Career College and/or Technical readiness. We are partnered with Wayne State University for ongoing and limitless opportunities for our students through the WSU C2 Pipeline program; we offer dualenrollment and early college through Macomb Community College College Board Advanced Placement honors coursework medical careers law enforcement culinary and business courses as well as traditional courses.

We boast a stellar instructional staff as well as a supportive staff including two counselors one assistant principal a DEAN instructional coaches and mentors. Look at EHS for Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Academic and Athletic Coaching opportunities as well as Curriculum Department Teams. Our Middle School has a Principal Assistant Principal Counselor and Social Worker.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Education with specific Language Major or beyond

State of Michigan Teaching Certification grades 612 or in process

Knowledgeable in student management techniques

Organizational skills; community oriented

Experience working with a diverse population

Successful Classroom teaching experience

Salary Data: per EFE Contract with negotiations currently in process to increase salary schedules for 202526 going forward.
