Senior Metering Project Engineer
West Palm Beach/Daytona/Sanford FL
12Month Contract
Overview of the Role
Join a leading renewable energy company as a Senior Metering Project Engineer where youll manage critical metering systems for renewable energy projects. This pivotal role connects engineering excellence with project delivery ensuring metering activities align with commercial agreements from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and organize customer commercial and internal metering requirements
- Coordinate crossfunctional teams for technical metering documentation
- Implement metering requirements into engineering design
- Oversee external Metering Engineers of Record
- Track and report on project contractual execution
- Provide engineering design and development support
- Prepare communications and presentations for stakeholders
- Develop improvement measures and establish customer requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 3 years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience
- Experience with protection & control drawings
- Understanding of instrument transformers (CT PTs CVTs)
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric ION8650 meters
- Knowledge of metertometer schemes and loss compensation methods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
