Job Description

The Windham Southwest Supervisory Union (WSWSU) in Wilmington Vermont is seeking a fulltime inperson SpeechLanguage Assistant for theschool year to support students in PreK through 12th grade. The WSWSU comprises five distinct schools across six towns: two elementary schools two elementary/middle schools and one middle high school. At WSWSU we are united in our commitment to academic excellence and student success. We empower learners to become strong communicators critical thinkers and compassionate collaborators and our educational approach fosters empathy adaptability and lifelong learningpreparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. The SpeechLanguage Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologist to help implement therapy plans support students IEP goals collect data and assist with materials and documentation. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills the ability to collaborate with educators and special education staff and reliable transportation for travel between school sites.
