Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Data GovernanceSenior ConsultantIn this role you will work directly with the clients to facilitate and lead the data governance program which will include metadata management data catalog data quality process/workflow definition implementation across different verticals. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas TXor be willing to relocate to the area
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience with SQL data warehousing and ETL concepts to develop and maintain automated APIs and ETL pipelines that support DG tools
- Experience in tactical implementation of data governance (DG) metadata management (MM) and data quality (DQ)
- Experience on one of the following DG tool Alation Informatica Collibra Purview Metadata Management Data Catalog Data Quality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra Informatica Alation Purview etc.
- Experience with any Data Governance tools Collibra Informatica EDC/AXON/IDQ Alation
- Good understanding of data integration data quality and data architecture
- Experience in Relational Modeling Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
- Knowledge and handson experience in SQL Unix shell scripting
- Experience in conducting unit testing integration testing and UAT as and when required
- Basic Understanding of programming languages like Python and Java
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
