First Shift (Days)Environmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Cleanroom: no hair products jewelry makeup nail polish perfume exposed piercings facial hair etc... allowed No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.)Job Description

Location/Division Specific Information:
CDD offers diagnostic solutions for IVD market segments with products for drugs of abuse testing therapeutic drug monitoring quality control sepsis diagnosis prenatal screening.
How Will You Make an Impact:
Join the Middletown VA team supporting top IVD suppliers with OEM and contract manufacturing.
A Day in the Life:
- Prepare and inspect equipment for use in chemical and bioformulations. Set up pumps filters tubing connections and mixers.
- Follow SOPs to calculate the amount of chemical needed to formulate. Weigh and mix chemicals with diluents under controlled conditions.
- Document steps accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance.
- Continuously monitor product for defects.
- Help improve the production process by making suggestions for improvement.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work space.
- Assist in the training and development of peers.
- Provide mentorship and direction to peers.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Ability to speak read and write in English including technical and scientific language.
- Ability to perform basic math including addition subtraction multiplication and division.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours a day)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move repetitively including pushing pulling lifting twisting bending grasping and crouching
