Position Function:
The Mens Basketball Fellow will serve as a fulltime employee of Mississippi State Basketball while learning under the guidance of the Head Coach and staff. This is a noncoaching position.
Salary Grade:09

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the staff with film breakdown and opponent scouting.
2. Chart analyze and distribute daily statistics from practice to the coaching staff.
3. Chart statistics as they pertain to the offense and defense.
4. Assist with game preparation.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a collegiate mens basketball program.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of certain fundamental concepts.
SportsCode & Synergy knowledge required.
Strong communication interpersonal facilitation and organizational skills.
Demonstrates sensitivity.
Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA Conference and institutional rules.
Ability to travel.
Ability to work long and irregular hours.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Regularly involves lifting bending or other physical exertion. Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat cold noise dirt chemicals etc.
Job frequently requires walking standing lifting sitting reaching talking hearing and handling objects with hands.
Requires handling of heavy weight objects up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis and on occasion up to 150 lbs.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
