Job Description
Elizabethtown College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor and Field Experience Coordinator of Exercise Science. This is a fulltime 9month position beginning August 2025. Elizabethtown College offers a BS degree in Exercise Science as well as an option of a concentration in PrePhysical Therapy PreAthletic Training or Strength and Conditioning within the major as well as minors in Exercise Science and Coaching. Required Qualifications
Candidates are required to have a Master of Science degree in an Exercise Sciencerelated field and at least 2 years of professional and/or clinical/academic laboratory experience in an Exercise Sciencefocused career. Preferred degrees or concentrations are in Exercise Physiology Biomechanics Health and Human Performance or Strength and Conditioning (or similar). Professional certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Associations ( NSCA ) or American College of Sports Medicine ( ACSM ) is also required. Candidates are also expected to maintain professional credentials and skills.
Preferred Qualifications
A doctorate (or ABD ) is preferred as is a minimum of 5 years of professional and/or clinical/academic laboratory experience.
