Our client is a food manufacturing company which is based in Malaysia. Headquarters in Johor Bahru. It operates in the Cookie and Cracker Manufacturing industry.
Job Description:
Assist in production and material planning under the supervision of the planning team.
Support in managing raw material inventory levels and monitoring availability of purchased items to ensure smooth production schedules.
Prepare and update basic inventory reports such as stock movement aging and turn reports.
Participate in monthly and adhoc inventory stock counts.
Help in projecting orders to suppliers to minimize production delays and maintain optimal stock levels.
Follow up with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders and assist in tracking material delivery status.
Contribute to the improvement and documentation of planning SOPs and internal records.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g. purchasing production warehouse) to support smooth operations.
Carry out any other tasks or projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirements:
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Food Science Business Administration Supply Chain Management Logistics Manufacturing or a related field.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
Knowledge of FSSC 22000 GMP HACCP and Halal Standards.
Detailoriented with good organizational and time management skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Willing to learn proactive and able to work well both independently and in a team.
Passionate about building a career in planning supply chain or operations.
