Job Description
Job Summary:
Synechron is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive engaging and visually compelling digital experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand user needs translate business requirements into innovative design solutions and ensure a seamless user journey across platforms. This role plays a critical part in enhancing customer satisfaction driving engagement and supporting the organizations digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring creativity usercentric thinking and technical understanding to deliver impactful designs aligned with business goals.
Software Requirements:
- Required:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD Sketch Figma or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator)
- Experience with prototyping tools and wireframing such as InVision or Marvel
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML CSS basic JavaScript) for designing responsive interfaces
- Preferred:
- Frontend development skills (React Angular or similar)
- Experience with user research A/B testing tools or analytics platforms
Overall Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners developers and stakeholders to gather design requirements and translate them into engaging UI/UX solutions
- Develop wireframes prototypes user flows and visual designs that enhance usability and visual appeal
- Conduct user research usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
- Create detailed design documentation and ensure consistency across digital channels and platforms
- Stay informed about industry trends best practices and emerging tools to continually enhance design quality
- Facilitate workshops or presentations to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and prototypes
- Advocate for usercentric design principles and accessibility standards throughout projects
Technical Skills (By Category):
- Design and Prototyping Tools:
- Essential: Adobe XD Sketch Figma InVision
- Preferred: Marvel Axure RP
- FrontEnd Technologies:
- Optional but advantageous: HTML CSS JavaScript React Angular (to better collaborate with development teams)
- Design Principles & Frameworks:
- Usercentered design accessibility standards (WCAG) responsive design mobilefirst principles
- Research & Testing Tools:
- A/B testing platforms heatmaps user feedback tools (Preference is for familiarity not required)
- Collaboration & Project Management:
- JIRA Confluence Slack Teams (or similar collaboration tools)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products
- Proven track record designing interfaces for web mobile or crossplatform applications
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Industry experience in financial services fintech or enterprise solutions is a plus but not mandatory
- Portfolio demonstrating usercentered design solutions and process excellence
DaytoDay Activities:
- Conduct stakeholder interviews user research and usability testing to inform designs
- Create wireframes mockups prototypes and style guides based on project requirements
- Collaborate daily with product managers developers and QA teams to refine designs and ensure flawless implementation
- Gather user feedback and perform iterative improvements to enhance usability and aesthetics
- Participate in sprint planning design review sessions and project demos
- Document design specifications guidelines and user journey maps for reference
- Keep abreast of industry trends best practices and emerging technologies to maintain innovative design standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design HumanComputer Interaction Visual Design or related field; Masters preferred
- Certification in UX/UI design (e.g. Nielsen Norman Group Human Factors or similar) is a plus
- Proven experience delivering highquality designs in enterprise or clientfacing environments

- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple projects
