An exciting opportunity has opened up with a rapidly scaling tech company thats investing heavily in its data infrastructure. They are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to take the lead on evolving their architecture while collaborating closely with senior leadership to shape the longterm data strategy.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building from the ground up developing scalable systems writing productionready code and playing a key role in datadriven decisionmaking across the business.
Role Highlights:

Spearheading the evolution of the companys data platform as it scales beyond MVP

Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Python Java Spark SQL and more

Partnering with crossfunctional teams (Product Finance Ops Customer Success) to deliver actionable insights and reliable data solutions

Designing data models streaming systems and transformation workflows

Involved in technical hiring and mentoring contributing to a highperformance engineering culture
What Theyre Looking For:

6 years of handson experience in data engineering ideally within fastmoving or financeoriented environments

Proficiency in Python (preferred) with experience in other languages like Java Scala or TypeScript

Strong knowledge of cloudbased big data tools (AWS Spark EMR Lambda etc.)

Excellent communication and problemsolving skills with a collaborative mindset

A passion for supporting SMEs through innovative dataled technology

Background in toptier financial or analyticsdriven companies is a plus
