The Harbour Hospital in Poole is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Radiographer to join their team of staff in theImagingdepartment covering both CT and MRI (no cardiac).
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. The department is open between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

Duties of this role include:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e.g. general Xrays theatre fluoroscopy mobiles) following referral and imaging protocols.
- Ensure highquality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis minimising the need for repeat exposures.
- Adapt techniques to meet the needs of individual patients including paediatrics bariatrics and patients with limited mobility.
- Provide a safe dignified and personcentred service ensuring patients are informed comfortable and reassured throughout their examination.
- Monitor patients conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any signs of deterioration.
- Ensure equipment is checked maintained and used safely and effectively reporting faults promptly.
- Assist in the implementation and use of new imaging technologies techniques and digital systems (e.g. PACS RIS).
- Work closely with radiologists consultants nurses porters and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently and maintain smooth patient pathways.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
- Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
- Good understanding of IR(ME)R health & safety infection control and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patientcentred approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Postgraduate experience or additional training in a specialist area desirable (e.g. CT MRI theatre imaging mammography).
