We are searching for a Wellness Coach to join our PARKLAND AT THE LAKES team based in DARTMOUTH NOVA SCOTIA.

Approximate hourly wage: $20.08 $21.97

About the Opportunity
Collaborating with each client to assess their engagement of meaningful activities in the six dimensions of wellness Physical Social Intellectual Vocational Emotional and Spiritual
Assisting each client in achieving their goals to enhance their overall wellness and assist with defining strategies for achieving those goals
Developing analyzing and reviewing clientdirected individualized and communitywide programs
Fostering partnerships with local businesses and community groups to facilitate program development
Managing the Harmony Program technology to enhance communication with clients and staff
Demonstrates an understanding of the residentdirected Philosophy of Service
Evaluating the Harmony Program to ensure that the program is meeting the clients needs and expectations along with upholding the established expectations of the program
Collaborating with the Harmony & Wellness team to develop a plan for fullscope wellness programming in the Hospitality & Wellness Assisted Living and Memory Care service lines
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement collaboration and accountability you bring:
PostSecondary education in recreation/leisure studies or another related program (preferred)
You are an energetic compassionate person who enjoys working with the elderly and has experience in programming and planning for seniors in a recreational environment
Strong communication skills both verbal and written as well as strong computer skills
Current First Aid & CPR certification is required
Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations services and care
