The Seniors and Disability services provide a range of quality direct services to the Cumberland community to promote social inclusion enhance quality of life and increase capacity for seniors and people with disability to participate in the community whilst maintaining overall wellbeing and independence.
The team are focused on the delivery of Cumberlands Disability Inclusion Action Planthe creation of more livable places and inclusive communities recognising the rights and contributions of people with disability and championing diversity within the Cumberland community.
In contributing to the overarching vision the Social Inclusion Transport Assistant will assist with administrative tasks to ensure social outings and activities are provided in an efficient and effective manner according to funding guidelines. The Social Inclusion Transport Assistant is also responsible for providing safe and reliable transport for Seniors people with a disability and members of the community and ensuring that the vehicles driven are clean and safe for passengers and that any issues are communicated with their supervisor.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
What youll need to have for this role:
Council adheres to the principles of a child safe organisation and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people and fully supports the aims and objectives of NSW Child Protection Legislation and associated provisions. Council will implement all necessary measures to ensure a safe and supportive environment which endeavours to promote child protection practices.
