Job Description
Position: Training Specialist
Employment Type: FullTime (NonExempt)
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions on regulations best practices and service standards within the Ohio DODD framework.
- Organize new employee orientation and create individualized training plans.
- Assess training needs through surveys performance evaluations and team feedback.
- Maintain and manage LADDs Learning Management System (LMS).
- Evaluate training effectiveness with data and continuous improvement in mind.
- Maintain records of employee training and retraining requirements.
- Ensure all training meets internal and external regulatory standards.
- Keep training manuals and materials updated.
- Monitor onboarding compliance and partner with leadership for departmentspecific training needs.
- Collaborate across departments to develop tailored training experiences.
- Stay current with trends in training and development.
- Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Trainer certification within 6 months and lead staff certifications.
- Operate within budget and track trainingrelated expenses.
- Education & Experience: Bachelors degree (Education HR Social Work etc.) with at least 5 years experience in training education or compliance.
- Skillful Communicator: Strong presentation writing and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible Facilitator: Comfortable with diverse learning styles and training formats.
- Organized & TechSavvy: Experience managing training logistics LMS systems and Microsoft Office.
